TODCO Announces 60th Anniversary and Oldest Working Door Contest

60 years in business and we're paying $$ for the oldest working TODCO door on the road today!

MARION, Ohio (January 2017) – TODCO, a division of Overhead Door Corporation, announces 60 years of service to the trucking industry. TODCO manufactures dry freight and insulated roll-up doors, dry freight swing doors, walk ramps and aftermarket parts and products with distribution world-wide. "TODCO is proud of our 60 years of innovation and customer support for our valued OEM and distributor partners and fleet customers. We look forward to the future with great optimism," stated Joe Owen, President.

TODCO began in 1957 in Hartford City, IN and relocated to Marion, OH in 1962, where products are still manufactured today. TODCO has a second factory in Tecate, Mexico that was relocated from Fresno, CA in 2008.

A leader in innovation, TODCO was the first door manufacturer to introduce stainless steel door cables, UV-cured prime and top coat, M.S. (Maximum Security) lock, tongue and groove panel joints, light weight fiberglass insulated doors, composite WeatherTite™ dry freight doors, 1" and 2" SupeRollers, as well as many other industry-tested and trusted products.

TODCO management has a clear definition of Operational Excellence – to deliver products "On-Time and Complete, Defect-Free, with Customer Care" resulting in being the easiest door supplier for OEMs and distributors to do business with.

Fleets and end-user customers appreciate TODCO's commitment to "Miles that Matter" by offering products that weigh less, last longer and are easier to maintain, thereby reducing the operating cost and the total cost of ownership.

To help celebrate 60 years in business, TODCO is searching for the oldest TODCO roll-up door that is still in operation and on the road today. Winner will receive a check for $1,000 and a new TODCO door in exchange for the original door so it can be placed on display in TODCO’s R & D department. Please email photos, door serial number and contact information to Lynne Bosh by July 31, 2017. Winner will be announced and contacted by August 31.

Be sure to visit TODCO on the road in Booth #2444 at ATA's TMC Technology and Maintenance Council Exhibition located in Nashville, TN (February 27 - March 1) and Booth #3313 at NTEA's Work Truck Show in Indianapolis, IN, (March 15 - 17) along with other trade shows and customer events throughout the year.
